Understanding Polar Wi-Fi: Essential Terms of Service and Usage Guidelines

Polar Wi‑Fi Internet Service Agreement

1. Agreement to Terms

This Internet Service Agreement (“Agreement”) governs your use of Polar Wi‑Fi services. By subscribing, activating, or using Polar Wi‑Fi services, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Term & Termination

This Agreement is month-to-month unless stated otherwise. Either party may cancel service with 30 days’ written notice. Polar Wi‑Fi may terminate service without notice in cases of policy violations, non-payment, network abuse, or unauthorized equipment use. Fees for setup, installation, or equipment are non-refundable.

3. Pricing & Modifications

Polar Wi‑Fi reserves the right to change pricing or terms with 30 days’ written notice. Your continued use after notification indicates acceptance. If you disagree, you may cancel without penalty before new pricing takes effect.

4. Equipment Ownership & Responsibility

All routers, antennas, or radios supplied by Polar Wi‑Fi remain company property. You are responsible for protecting this equipment from:

  • Lightning or power surges

  • Wind, hail, or weather damage

  • Theft, vandalism, or misuse

If damage occurs, replacement and labor (at $110/hour) may be billed to you. Upon cancellation, you must return all Polar Wi‑Fi equipment in good condition or face replacement charges.

5. Service Restrictions & Fair Use

Services are intended for use by a single household or office. Reselling or sharing service outside your property, including via Wi‑Fi, is prohibited. Excessive usage—such as running web servers, excessive streaming, or file hosting—may result in throttling or termination under our Fair Use Policy.

6. Prohibited Activities

You agree not to use Polar Wi‑Fi services for:

  • Illegal activities (piracy, hacking, identity theft, etc.)

  • Hosting or distributing viruses or malware

  • Disrupting network traffic (DoS attacks, unauthorized access)

  • Sharing copyrighted content without authorization

  • Sending spam, phishing, or unsolicited bulk emails

  • Misrepresenting identity or service origins

7. No Server Hosting

Running public-facing servers or services—such as FTP, HTTP, SMTP, game servers, or VPN endpoints—is not permitted. Port scanning or use of tools for unauthorized access is forbidden.

8. IP Addressing

IP addresses are dynamically assigned unless otherwise agreed. Manual static IP configuration or network changes without written approval may result in service disruption or fees.

9. Quality of Experience (QoE)

To maintain reliable service, Polar Wi‑Fi may prioritize certain traffic types and de-prioritize high-bandwidth services during peak times. Peer-to-peer and streaming may be affected during congestion.

10. Warranty Disclaimer

Services are provided “as is.” Polar Wi‑Fi disclaims all warranties—express or implied—including those of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted access. You use the service at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

Polar Wi‑Fi is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages related to service use or failure. If we are found liable, your sole remedy is a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your current month.

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify Polar Wi‑Fi against claims, damages, or losses resulting from your use or misuse of the service. This includes legal fees, court costs, or third-party claims.

13. Privacy & Network Monitoring

Polar Wi‑Fi does not guarantee complete privacy. We may monitor usage to ensure security, prevent abuse, or comply with legal requirements. By using the service, you consent to this monitoring.

14. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration. By accepting service, you waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits or jury trials related to service issues.

15. No Confidentiality Guarantee

Information sent over the internet is not guaranteed to be secure. Polar Wi‑Fi is not responsible for loss of data or privacy while using the service.
